DP = Deep Practice. This means we do “whole-stroke” swimming (meaning: not drill) where we emphasize a particular aspect of the stroke. For instance, it might be a high elbow catch in freestyle or it might be a fast right hand entry in backstroke. We are using “deep focus” to work on very specific thing, hence the name.
