  1. X equals any distance between 25 and 100 yards @1:00. Y equals a 50, 100, or 150 @1:30, and Z equals any distance between 75 and 200 yards @2:00 and the last swim is on 2:30 for a distance equal to half of Y. Perform the whole thing through 5 times. Distances vary based on a swimmer's specialty. What Salo doesn't tell us here is what speed these swims are performed at. Presumably, they are at some speed that approaches race pace. Athlete may choose what equipment to use.
